🙂‍↔️ ABOUT ME

Hi! I’m Diana and I’m a doctor. This is a bit of my story:

  • I grew up in El Salvador and moved to Spain to study medicine. Growing up I never thought about going into medicine (although both of my parents are doctors). I actually wanted to be a fashion designer, but I made the decision of going for medicine (for better of for worse, in sickness and in health, I chose medicine).

  • After finishing med school I decided I didn’t want to go into training (although all of my teachers said it was a bad idea). So I moved to London and did a masters in Nutrition for Global Health. At the time was into fitness, considered myself a gym rat and becoming a nutritionist seem like a fun idea (I think you’re starting to see that I don’t think too much about my life choices, I just go with the flow).

  • I then realised that I missed the hospital (of course) and trained in General Surgery for 2+ years until I burnt out and decided to quit (again).

And here I am - 10 years after starting studying medicine. I started my own business and help women that are in a similar position (transitioning careers, or burnt out). I know it can be a lonely path, that’s why it’s important to find your people and support each other.
